counting sheep

At a Halloween-themed meeting at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I'll admit, I was slightly distracted by this girl's airy, dreamy sparkles. She says the ensemble is her lamb costume for Halloween--made complete with her lamb hat which she isn't wearing here. She definitely achieved the cute factor of a lamb. Her layers of fuzzy adorable-ness are so right for battling a chilly fall and lacks zero sass with her Halloween appropriate heels. (and who can say no to some New York Sprinkles cupcakes?)

chic in black

Leather, fur, lace, floral--this outfit perfects a mix of textures to create a chill look perfect for the breezy autumn and Halloween season. Her short hair definitely adds a chic edge and the magical glitz of her earrings adds an appropriate touch of cool.

brooklyn flea market

the mint green, grounded boots and sleek blazer epitomized, for me, the perfect way to transition into fall. i loved how the mint green was reminiscent of spring, but the outfit was definitely autumnal. easy breezy hair is always a plus too.

at mates of state

The silhouette of the dress with the punch-y cartoon prints definitely had me oo-gle-ing and ahh-gle-ing. And anyone who can work a strand of hot pink hair is my friend.

About Anna

Hello.
About me.. I'm a fashion design student at FIT, and avid comfort-dresser-- my feel-good item is a big, wooly sweater. Inspired by the mori (forest) girl lifestyle and nature, but I'm so interested in street culture, too. I love to layer clothes, and wear long skirts.
Excited to see Class of Fashion expand into New York as it also continues in Seattle!

summer to fall

I loved the mixed up ensemble of patterns and colors. She definitely rocks the cozy, chunky look for Fall.

Her velvet skirt was one of the best things I had seen. The texture was amazing. Oh and this was taken at the New York Times, no big deal.

A smile makes everything better.

About Erin

South Korean, Jersey-born, Seattle-bred and currently celebrating in New York City, I've always been on the move, and finding beauty in almost anything and everything has become a natural habit. Fashion has helped me discover myself and my own personality; I love being able to mix and match clothes--tights with shorts and sweaters with button-downs are some of my favorite things to wear. I hope Class of Fashion is able to not only embrace awesome, youthful fashion, but their personalities and life stories through their clothes. I hadn't imagined CF to move beyond high school, so get ready for some inspiring outfeats.

About Shawna

Greetings Class of Fashion readers! My name is Shawna Shadlow and I am a Seattle native fashion enthusiast.  I believe that clothes have a story to tell and that its my job to find out the story behind them. My passion is to become a fashion designer and hopefully creating my own clothing line in the future. When it comes to my personal style i would describe it as very classic and it tends to lean towards the 1940's with a modern twist. Fashion is essentially a concept that is constantly evolving and i hope to portray that concept with new looks and constant updates on current trends.
